Bell-Ahh | Holistic Wellness Identity
Transforming a niche bath brand into a holistic wellness authority
Transforming a niche bath brand into a holistic wellness authority
As the Brand Designer and Web Strategist, I transitioned Bell-Ahh from a "bath-only" identity into a high-end wellness authority. We moved beyond the bathtub to create a scalable system for a growing line of CBD and herbal remedies.
The original branding restricted the owner's expansion into broader wellness markets. I needed to move away from literal bath imagery while maintaining a subtle nod to the brand’s origins, all while avoiding overused wellness clichés like "hands and plants.
I designed a circular mark representing "full-circle health." The internal swirl nods to bath bubbles (the brand's roots), while the silhouette of a woman and the negative-space leaves communicate nurturing, feminine, and natural medicine.
To position the brand as a premium, trustworthy expert, I utilized a condensed serif for an elegant tone. A standard hyphen did not fit the brand's aesthetic, so I replaced it with a custom element from the mark—a swoosh with a growing leaf—to unify the icon and wordmark. The high-contrast Royal Blue signals reliability, while Gold Tan swoosh helps tie in the brand elements seen throughout.
I bypassed standard templates and built a custom WordPress site using Elementor to control the user journey. I designed specific content funnels that educated users on "holistic relief" first, building trust before routing them to the shop for conversion based on their specific pain points.
The new identity successfully decoupled the brand from its limiting "bath" associations. Bell-Ahh now possesses a cohesive, professional system that works across B2B channels and D2C packaging, allowing the owner to compete in the broader wellness market.
